Farm & Food Systems Fellowship

Located in Jasper, IN, the Farm & Food Systems Fellowship is dedicated to training and empowering a new generation of advocates who champion a food system that prioritizes social, environmental, and economic justice. Offering a tuition-free program, this fellowship emphasizes accessibility and hands-on learning. Selected Fellows engage in a six-month, immersive experience at the Allegheny Farm Campus, where they gain crucial organic food system education while practicing innovative approaches to community food initiatives. From growing diversified crops and supporting farmers markets to implementing educational programs that enhance food literacy in schools, our Fellows work closely with regional non-profit partners to foster healthier food access and ecosystem awareness. This fellowship culminates in a Community Action Year, further enabling participants to apply their skills locally and mentor future cohorts in the field. Applications are accepted until March, and the fellowship experience runs from May to October.
