Grace Hanson

Grace Hanson is a compassionate counselor, LMHCA, who understands that the journey to counseling can be challenging. Her extensive life experiences have shaped her understanding of the clients she serves, which drives her dedication to providing tailored treatment modalities. With a strong emphasis on developing a therapeutic relationship, Grace utilizes a client-centered approach in her practice. She has significant experience working with families, particularly with children and adolescents. Grace's clinical passions lie in supporting those experiencing complex emotions and navigating the journey of complicated grief. She employs various therapeutic techniques including Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT), Play Therapy, and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), maintaining a strong focus on the strengths of her clients. Her specialty includes assisting children and teens in managing intense emotions and supporting individuals on the Autism Spectrum. Grace holds a Master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and is actively pursuing full licensure while under the supervision of Joanna Bloss at Generations Counseling. With her warm and engaging approach, Grace is eager to guide new clients on their path to healing and growth.
