Women, Infants, and Children (WIC)

Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) is a vital federally-funded nutrition program serving pregnant women, breastfeeding mothers, and postpartum women, as well as infants and children up to five years old in Greensburg, IN, and surrounding counties including Shelby, Decatur, and Brown. Our mission is to ensure the well-being of families by improving fetal development, decreasing the likelihood of low birth weight and premature births, and addressing maternal and childhood anemia. Through WIC, eligible participants receive personalized nutrition education, access to supplemental foods, support for breastfeeding, and essential referrals for healthcare services. We are dedicated to empowering families with the resources they need to thrive and fostering healthier communities in Indiana.
