The Farm & Food Systems Fellowship in Granger, IN, is dedicated to cultivating leaders who advocate for a socially, environmentally, and economically just food system. Our Fellowship provides comprehensive training that empowers individuals to become educators and advocates for sustainable agriculture. Through hands-on experiences at our Allegheny Farm Campus, selected Fellows engage in organic food system education and apply their skills in local communities, working with partners to grow and distribute diverse crops, maintain school gardens, and promote food and ecological literacy. We strive to expand access to healthy foods by supporting farmers markets and developing innovative distribution channels. Our program is tuition-free, ensuring that all passionate individuals have the opportunity to participate. This six-month fellowship followed by a Community Action Year equips Fellows with the knowledge and experience needed to effect positive change in their communities. Applications are accepted until March each year, with programs running from May to October.
