Farm & Food Systems Fellowship

The Farm & Food Systems Fellowship in Evansville, IN, is dedicated to nurturing the next generation of advocates for an equitable and sustainable food system. Through a hands-on, six-month training program at our Allegheny Farm Campus, Fellows gain invaluable experience in organic agriculture, food education, and community engagement without the burden of tuition fees, ensuring accessibility for all. Our mission encompasses fostering diverse crop production, facilitating health-oriented educational sessions, and empowering community gardens, all while enhancing food literacy in local schools. We also champion farmers markets and direct-to-consumer initiatives, striving to improve access to healthy foods for everyone. Following their fellowship, participants enter a Community Action Year to implement their knowledge in collaboration with regional non-profits, driving change at the grassroots level and mentoring future fellows.
