Farm & Food Systems Fellowship

Based in Demotte, IN, the Farm & Food Systems Fellowship is dedicated to nurturing a new generation of leaders committed to advancing a fair, sustainable, and resilient food system. This transformative program empowers participants through comprehensive organic food system education, with a focus on social, environmental, and economic justice. Our Fellows engage in hands-on learning at our Allegheny Farm Campus, where they gain practical experience in areas such as growing and distributing crops, developing community gardens, and promoting health through educational initiatives. Throughout their journey, selected Fellows collaborate with regional non-profits and mentor future cohorts, while also significantly contributing to local food coalitions and farmers markets. By removing barriers to participation, we ensure that our Fellowship is accessible to all aspiring advocates, inspiring change within their communities. Applications open annually until March, and the fellowship experience runs from May to October.
