Farm & Food Systems Fellowship

The Farm & Food Systems Fellowship, based in Decatur, IN, is dedicated to empowering individuals to become advocates for a just and sustainable food system. Through a six-month experiential program at the Allegheny Farm Campus, selected Fellows receive comprehensive training in organic food system education at no cost, ensuring accessibility for all. Our approach emphasizes the importance of social, environmental, and economic justice in food production. Participants engage in hands-on experiences growing and distributing diverse crops, implementing community gardens, and integrating food and ecological literacy into educational settings. The Fellowship also partners with regional non-profits, enabling Fellows to mentor others, support farmers markets, and enhance distribution channels for healthy food access. Apply by March to join this transformative program, typically running from May to October.
