The Farm & Food Systems Fellowship in Crawfordsville, IN is dedicated to nurturing future leaders in sustainable agriculture and food justice. Over six months, selected Fellows immerse themselves in hands-on learning at the Allegheny Farm in Highland County, VA, focusing on organic food systems, community gardening, and food literacy education. They will also engage in vital community initiatives such as growing diversified crops, promoting farmer's markets, and collaborating with local non-profits during their Community Action Year. The application process is open until March each year, with the program running from May to October, ensuring a transformational journey towards sustainable food practices and community empowerment.
