The Farm & Food Systems Fellowship in Connersville, IN, sponsored by the Allegheny Mountain Institute, is committed to cultivating a new generation of food advocates dedicated to creating a socially, environmentally, and economically just food system. Our Fellowship offers comprehensive training without tuition fees, ensuring accessibility for all motivated individuals. Over a transformative six-month period at the Allegheny Farm Campus, Fellows engage in immersive, hands-on learning about organic food systems, while collaborating with local partners to grow diversified crops, implement community educational programs, maintain school gardens, and promote food and ecological literacy. Following their fellowship, participants embark on a Community Action Year, putting their skills into practice alongside regional non-profit organizations, driving initiatives that improve access to healthy foods and support community food efforts. We invite passionate individuals to apply before March to embark on this impactful journey from May to October.
