Food Pantry

Located in Carmel, IN, Open Doors of Washington Township is dedicated to alleviating hunger by providing essential food assistance to individuals and families in need. Our food pantry offers a welcoming environment where families can schedule one major shopping trip each month, receiving two bags of nutritious food along with access to refrigerated items. Additionally, families are encouraged to shop in our Front Room up to four times per month, ensuring they have access to the resources necessary for a healthy diet. Upon arrival, clients are greeted by an advocate who guides them through the eligibility process and assists with referrals. While awaiting their food order, clients can explore our selection of clothing and other essentials, making each visit as supportive and comprehensive as possible. We invite those in need to complete our client application, available online, and bring it along with required documents to our pantry to receive care and nourishment.
