Women Infants and Children (WIC)

Based in Brazil, IN, the Women, Infants and Children (WIC) Supplemental Food Program is dedicated to nurturing the health of low-income pregnant, postpartum, and breastfeeding women, along with infants and children up to five years old. Our mission is to foster healthy eating habits through nutrition education, provide supplemental food, and offer breastfeeding support, while connecting families to essential healthcare services. In response to the ongoing challenges posed by COVID-19, WIC remains committed to serving our community with adapted services to ensure the safety of both clients and staff. Families are encouraged to reach out to their local WIC clinics for information on how to access our vital resources, and they can easily begin their application online, making it simple to take the first step towards a healthier future for their children.
