The Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants & Children (WIC) is dedicated to enhancing the health and nutrition of eligible residents in Zion, IL, and throughout Lake County. Our program offers essential services including free health and nutrition screenings, individualized nutrition counseling, and referrals for medical care and immunizations. With our WIC food packages that include wholesome grains and access to fresh fruits and vegetables through vouchers for local Farmer's Markets during the summer, we aim to equip families with the tools they need for healthy living. Additionally, we provide valuable breastfeeding support and education, ensuring mothers receive the guidance they deserve.
