Ashley Petersen

Dr. Ashley Petersen is a dedicated psychologist with a PsyD in Clinical Psychology, specializing in Child and Family Psychology from the California School of Professional Psychology. With extensive training across various mental health settings, she has developed a deep understanding of the challenges faced by behaviorally and emotionally challenged children, foster children, and their families. Dr. Petersen excels in administering psychological evaluations for children, adolescents, and adults, including those with ADHD, learning disabilities, and developmental disorders. Her experience also encompasses attending IEP meetings and providing tailored recommendations to schools. Throughout her career, she has taken on diverse roles such as clinician, consultant, and psychological assessor, working collaboratively to meet the unique needs of her clients. In both a non-profit organization and private practice, Dr. Petersen has contributed her skills in delivering psychological evaluations and therapy to a wide range of age groups, from children to adults. Outside of her professional commitments, she enjoys quality moments with her husband and children, cheering on sports teams, running, and indulging in her passion for cooking.
