Healthy Families

Healthy Families, based in Woodridge, IL, is a vital program by Teen Parent Connection designed to empower young parents, aged 12 to 19, through a proven home visiting model. Our dedicated and highly trained home visitors provide personalized support right in the comfort of each family's home, addressing specific needs to nurture healthy family dynamics. We offer a comprehensive range of services, including parenting education, health and nutrition guidance, and help connecting to essential community resources. Our home visits cover critical topics such as infant care techniques, child development, engaging parent-child activities, and self-care strategies for young parents. Available free of charge to families in DuPage County, our program begins during pregnancy or within the first three months after a baby's birth, continuing until the child is five years old.
