Women, Infants and Children (WIC)

The Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) Program in West Chicago, IL, is dedicated to enhancing the health and well-being of pregnant, postpartum, and breastfeeding women, as well as infants and young children in DuPage County. Our program offers vital support through no-cost services that include nutrition education, breastfeeding assistance, and access to nutritious supplemental foods. We provide essential breastfeeding counseling and free breast pumps for those in need. Our dedicated Family Case Managers collaborate with skilled public health nurses to ensure personalized support through clinic visits and home consultations. In addition, we offer free health and nutrition screenings along with nutrition counseling and referrals for medical care, immunizations, and additional services. By prioritizing access to health resources, WIC is committed to fostering a healthy future for families and children in our community.
