Healthy Families, located in West Chicago, IL, is dedicated to empowering young parents through a nationally accredited home visiting program designed to meet families where they are. Our caring, highly trained home visitors establish meaningful connections and tailor their support to address the unique needs of each family. Offering a wide array of services, we provide vital home visits that encompass parenting education, health and nutrition guidance, and assistance in accessing community resources. Our program covers essential topics such as soothing infants, promoting healthy child development, engaging in fun parent-child activities, and exploring education and employment opportunities. Offered free of charge to young mothers and fathers aged 12 to 19 in DuPage County, our visits begin prenatally or within the first three months after birth, ensuring support continues until the child reaches five years of age.
