Food Pantry

The Aurora Area Interfaith Food Pantry in West Chicago, IL is dedicated to providing essential food assistance to those in need within our community. Our mission is to ensure that everyone has access to nutritious food, offering canned goods and grocery items that meet basic dietary requirements. Individuals facing food insecurity are welcome to visit the pantry once a week to receive support. We understand the challenges some may face, which is why we allow designated proxies to pick up food on behalf of those unable to visit themselves. Our compassionate, bilingual staff is here to assist clients and help navigate their needs. During the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, we have adapted our services to operate a drive-thru system, where we prepare “fresh family boxes” that provide enough food to sustain a family for one week. To ensure safety, we ask that clients remain in their cars with windows rolled up while receiving assistance. Together, we are committed to alleviating hunger in our community.
