Selma Schimmel Vital Grant

The Selma Schimmel Vital Grant, based in Waukegan, IL, is dedicated to supporting individuals experiencing severe financial difficulties due to the impact of chronic, terminal, or rare illnesses like cancer, Parkinson’s, and Huntington’s Disease. Our mission is to provide essential aid, including utility assistance and grocery assistance, to alleviate some of the burdens faced during these challenging times. Please note that our grant will cover either utilities or groceries, not both. We also collaborate with Vital Options International and other organizations to connect those in need with additional resources and support options. We are committed to making a meaningful difference in the lives of those impacted by these serious health conditions in our community.
