MOVE! Weight Management Program

Located in Waukegan, IL, MOVE! Weight Management Program is dedicated to enhancing the health and well-being of Veterans through tailored weight management and health promotion services. Our mission is to ensure that every Veteran receiving care at our VA facilities is screened for obesity and referred to appropriate treatment options that align with their personal needs and preferences. We offer a range of supportive services, including group sessions, telephone lifestyle coaching, and the innovative TeleMOVE! program, which provides in-home messaging and clinician contact. For those who prefer a self-managed approach, the MOVE! Coach mobile app is available, alongside weight loss medications and bariatric surgery options for Veterans who have not seen success with our other programs.
