Yolanda Olszewski

Dr. Yolanda Olszewski is a dedicated Counselor with a PsyD, MPH, and MScOB, who believes in providing individualized, evidence-based care delivered with respect, compassion, and education. She partners with her clients to help them achieve their therapeutic goals. Dr. Olszewski specializes in working with high-risk adolescents facing mood disorders, anxiety disorders, attention and executive functioning deficits, panic disorder, and trauma. She also has a strong focus on young women suffering from peripartum mood disorders and provides support to GLBTQ youth and families navigating divorce. As a bilingual practitioner fluent in English and Spanish, Dr. Olszewski assists clients in gaining insight into the challenging areas of their lives. With over 25 years of experience in Public Health intertwined with mental health, she offers a unique approach to wellness and stability. Additionally, her expertise includes cognitive, academic, personality, and forensic assessments, encompassing immigration evaluations, pre-employment assessments, fitness-for-duty evaluations, unfit to stand trial assessments, and considerations of not guilty by reason of insanity. Dr. Olszewski is particularly eager to work with first responders and their family members, ensuring their mental health needs are addressed with care and understanding.
