Financial Assistance for Families Working in the Restaurant Industry

In Urbana, IL, CORE is dedicated to providing essential financial assistance to families working in the restaurant industry who are facing economic challenges due to illness or medical emergencies. Our mission is to support food and beverage service employees by offering assistance for crucial expenses such as rent or mortgage, utilities, medical bills, and childcare costs. We understand that the stress of financial hardship can be overwhelming, especially when caring for children, which is why our program extends to cover essential needs like diapers and formula, as well as travel and food costs associated with hospital visits. While support is limited to a lifetime cap of $7,500 for eligible families, we encourage former grant recipients to reapply after 12 months should they encounter new or ongoing qualifying circumstances. CORE is here to lend a helping hand during difficult times, ensuring that families receive the care and support they need.
