Adolescent and Young Adult Oncology (AYA) Program

The Adolescent and Young Adult Oncology (AYA) Program in Urbana, IL, is dedicated to supporting young cancer survivors aged 15-39 through a comprehensive range of services tailored to their unique needs. Our program integrates a multidisciplinary team of expert clinicians and clinical researchers, leveraging the esteemed resources of Chicago's Lurie Cancer Center. We adhere to nationally recognized guidelines to provide personalized care, which includes psychosocial support, fertility counseling, health insurance and financial guidance, surveillance and survivorship care, clinical trials, specialty cancer programs, and palliative care. Recognizing the challenges faced by our AYA patients, we foster connections with support centers that offer additional resources for education, discussion, and community. In our commitment to accessibility, we also offer medically necessary care at no or reduced fees when needed, ensuring that all young individuals receive the vital support and treatment they deserve.
