Youth HYPE Housing Program

At Northwest Compass, located in Tinley Park, IL, we believe that everyone deserves a place to call home. Our Youth HYPE Housing Program is dedicated to empowering individuals aged 18-24 to take control of their housing situations through personalized support and advocacy. We offer a variety of services designed to assist residents facing eviction, foreclosure, or homelessness, including financial assistance for homelessness prevention, money management counseling, and career coaching to enhance employment readiness. Our organization also acts as an Entry Point Center in collaboration with The Alliance to End Homelessness in Suburban Cook County, connecting clients to vital resources. Additionally, we provide a monthly food pantry available to all residents and support with SNAP and Medicaid applications, ensuring that those in our community have access to essential services. Our compassionate staff is committed to treating everyone with dignity, helping turn crises into opportunities, and fostering a supportive environment. All services are provided at no cost to residents, and contributions of food donations are always welcome to help us in our mission.
