At Northwest Compass in Streamwood, IL, we believe that everyone deserves a safe and secure place to call home. Our Youth HYPE Housing Program is dedicated to empowering young adults aged 18 to 24, helping them navigate housing challenges with practical solutions tailored to their unique circumstances. As part of our wide-ranging support services, we operate a Walk-In Entry Point Center, connect individuals to vital resources through The Alliance to End Homelessness in the Suburban Cook County, and provide critical financial assistance to prevent homelessness. We also offer education and advocacy for residents facing eviction or foreclosure, along with money management counseling to foster financial independence. Our dedicated team provides career coaching to assist clients in becoming job-ready and gaining employment. In addition, we partner with the Greater Chicago Food Depository, facilitating SNAP and Medicaid applications, and offer a food pantry accessible to all residents, with monthly registration. At Northwest Compass, we recognize the emotional toll of housing instability and strive to uphold dignity and respect, turning crisis into opportunity for our community members every day, all free of charge.
