Youth HYPE Housing Program

At Northwest Compass, we believe that everyone deserves a safe and stable place to call home. Located in Streamwood, IL, our Youth HYPE Housing Program is dedicated to empowering young adults aged 18-24 to actively manage their housing situations and build a brighter future. We offer a variety of vital services, including a walk-in entry point center that connects individuals facing homelessness with essential resources. Our program features limited financial assistance to prevent homelessness and provides education, advocacy, and counseling for residents of the Northwest Suburbs of Cook County. Additionally, we offer money management support, career coaching, and assistance with SNAP and Medicaid applications. Every month, our food pantry serves all residents, ensuring access to nourishing food. Our compassionate staff treats each individual with respect and works tirelessly to turn housing crises into opportunities for growth and stability.
