MOVE! Weight Management Program, located in Springfield, IL, is dedicated to enhancing the health and well-being of Veterans through comprehensive weight management and health promotion services. Our mission involves annually screening every Veteran at VA facilities for obesity and providing tailored referrals to suitable weight management resources. Whether through engaging group sessions, convenient telephone lifestyle coaching, or innovative TeleMOVE! in-home support, we prioritize options that meet the unique needs and preferences of each Veteran. For those who prefer a self-directed approach, the MOVE! Coach mobile app offers helpful tools for individual weight management. Additionally, we provide access to weight loss medications and bariatric surgery for Veterans facing ongoing challenges despite using the MOVE! program.
