Adolescent and Young Adult Oncology (AYA) Program

The Adolescent and Young Adult Oncology (AYA) Program in Springfield, IL, is dedicated to supporting young cancer survivors aged 15-39 with a compassionate and comprehensive approach. Collaborating closely with the renowned Lurie Cancer Center in Chicago, our multidisciplinary team of experts is committed to meeting the unique and complex needs of AYA patients. We provide essential services aligned with national standards, including psychosocial support, fertility counseling, health insurance and financial guidance, surveillance and survivorship care, access to clinical trials, specialty cancer programs, and palliative care. Our program also partners with local support organizations to foster learning, discussion, and fellowship among those impacted by cancer. When necessary, we ensure that our patients receive medically essential care at little or no cost, reaffirming our commitment to their well-being and recovery.
