Youth HYPE Housing Program

At the Youth HYPE Housing Program in Skokie, IL, we believe that everyone deserves a safe and supportive place to call home. Our mission is to empower young adults aged 18-24 in navigating their housing challenges through tailored resources and guidance. As part of Northwest Compass, we provide a variety of essential services, including a walk-in entry point to connect individuals experiencing homelessness with crucial assistance, limited financial aid to prevent eviction, and educational advocacy for residents facing housing instability in the Northwest Suburbs of Cook County. We also offer money management counseling, career coaching, and support with SNAP and Medicaid applications, ensuring our clients have the tools and skills they need for a stable future. With a fully accessible food pantry open monthly to all residents, we strive to alleviate immediate needs while respecting and uplifting the dignity of those we serve. Our compassionate staff works tirelessly to transform crises into opportunities, reinforcing our commitment to creating a welcoming and inclusive environment for all.
