Youth HYPE Housing Program

At the Youth HYPE Housing Program in Skokie, IL, we believe that everyone deserves a safe and supportive place to call home. Our mission is to empower young adults aged 18-24 to take an active role in managing their housing situations and finding the best solutions tailored to their unique circumstances. As part of Northwest Compass, we serve as a key Entry Point Center in the North Suburban region, partnering with The Alliance to End Homelessness in Suburban Cook County to connect individuals with vital resources. Through comprehensive services, including limited homeless prevention financial assistance, education on eviction and foreclosure issues, and money management counseling, we provide the tools necessary for financial understanding and stability. Our dedicated team offers career coaching to help clients become job-ready and gain employment, along with support in navigating SNAP and Medicaid applications. Additionally, we maintain a food pantry accessible to all residents, ensuring that no one faces hunger during their time of need. At Youth HYPE, we treat every individual with respect and compassion, striving to transform crises into opportunities for a brighter future—all at no cost. Food donations are always welcome as we work together to uplift our community.
