Women, Infants, and Children (WIC)

Located in Skokie, IL, the Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) program is dedicated to enhancing the nutritional health of pregnant, breastfeeding, and postpartum women, as well as infants and children under five. As part of the Special Supplemental Nutrition Program funded by the USDA, WIC offers vital resources including personalized nutrition education, counseling, and breastfeeding support. Participants receive vouchers for nutritious foods, ensuring access to healthy options that promote well-being for moms and their little ones. WIC also connects families with additional social and health services, making it a comprehensive support system aimed at fostering healthy growth and development in our community.
