Youth HYPE Housing Program

At the Youth HYPE Housing Program in Schaumburg, IL, we believe that everyone deserves a stable place to call home. Our mission is to empower young adults aged 18-24 to take active control of their housing situations and to navigate the challenges surrounding homelessness. Through our Walk-In Entry Point Center, we connect individuals with vital resources in collaboration with The Alliance to End Homelessness in Suburban Cook County. We offer specialized services including homeless prevention financial assistance, educational advocacy for residents facing eviction or foreclosure, and money management counseling to enhance financial understanding. Additionally, our career coaching helps clients prepare for job readiness, while our partnership with the Greater Chicago Food Depository allows us to support those in need with access to nutritious food from our food pantry, available monthly upon registration. At Northwest Compass, we understand the emotional toll of housing crises and strive to restore dignity and confidence through our compassionate assistance, ensuring that our services are free of charge to all residents in the Northwest Suburbs of Cook County.
