Mikayla Cairo is a licensed clinical social worker who obtained her master's degree from the University of Illinois at Chicago in May of 2020, specializing in mental health. With significant experience working with children and adolescents dealing with mental health challenges, Mikayla has also dedicated time to inpatient psychiatric units, assisting geriatrics and adults facing mental illness and complex medical issues. Currently, she provides both Telehealth and in-person therapy, eager to partner with clients on their journey to healing. Her passions lie in supporting individuals living with depression, anxiety, mood disorders, medical conditions, and psychotic disorders. Mikayla is deeply committed to understanding her clients' unique narratives to collaboratively work toward their treatment goals. Outside of her professional life, Mikayla enjoys spending time with her golden retriever, Cholula, binge-watching Netflix, nurturing her cacti plants, and exploring new travel destinations. She looks forward to the opportunity to work with you and contribute to your healing journey.
