Located in Plainfield, IL, the American Indian Health Service of Chicago (AIHSC) is a vital resource providing comprehensive primary care and mental health services tailored specifically for the American Indian community and other underserved populations. As the only Urban Indian Health Program in Illinois, we are dedicated to fostering a culturally sensitive environment that ensures quality healthcare for patients at every stage of life. Our integrated approach combines primary care with behavioral health services, allowing us to address the diverse and complex needs of our patients. Our offerings include chronic disease management, women’s health services, cancer screenings, immunizations, and mental health screenings, among others. We also provide specialized care for infants and children, including well-child exams and immunizations. AIHSC accepts most insurance plans and offers a self-pay sliding scale option to make services accessible to all.
