Located in Plainfield, IL, the Prader-Willi Syndrome Association (PWSA) is dedicated to providing essential support for individuals diagnosed with Prader-Willi syndrome, their families, and caregiving professionals. Our Family Support team is a crucial resource, offering accurate information and a suite of services designed to empower families at the moment of diagnosis. We provide guidance on nutritional education and meal planning, parent mentoring, and strategies for effective behavior management. Additionally, we assist families in navigating the often-complex application and appeal processes for Medicaid, insurance coverage, Supplemental Security Income (SSI), and Social Security Disability Insurance (SSDI).
