The Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) Program offered by the Peoria City/County Health Department is dedicated to fostering healthy nutrition for low-income pregnant, postpartum, and breastfeeding women, along with infants and children up to five years old. Our mission is to promote healthier food choices through comprehensive nutrition education, provide essential supplemental foods, and encourage breastfeeding with dedicated support and resources. Additionally, we connect families with necessary healthcare services to ensure every child has the healthiest start possible.
