Located in Palatine, IL, the American Indian Health Service of Chicago (AIHSC) proudly stands as the only Urban Indian Health Program in Illinois, dedicated to offering culturally sensitive and quality primary healthcare and mental health services to the American Indian community and other underserved populations. Our mission is to provide comprehensive primary care that addresses the diverse needs of individuals at every stage of life, particularly those with complex health challenges. We emphasize an integrated approach by combining behavioral health with primary care, fostering a collaborative environment among our interdisciplinary team. Our array of services includes chronic disease management, women's health screenings, vaccinations, mental health evaluations, and preventative care for children, as well as urgent care and specialty referrals. AIHSC accepts most insurance plans and offers a sliding scale payment option for those without coverage, ensuring that everyone has access to essential health services.
