Youth HYPE Housing Program

In the heart of Palatine, IL, the Youth HYPE Housing Program at Northwest Compass is dedicated to ensuring that everyone has a safe and supportive place to call home. Our mission is to empower young adults aged 18-24 who are experiencing homelessness by providing them with the tools and resources they need to navigate their housing situations effectively. Through our Entry Point Center, we connect individuals with vital resources, offering services such as limited financial assistance for homelessness prevention, money management education, and career coaching to help clients secure stable employment. We also assist with SNAP and Medicaid applications, ensuring families receive essential support. Each month, our food pantry serves all residents, fostering community connections while alleviating food insecurity. With a focus on respect and compassion, our dedicated staff works tirelessly to help neighbors transform their challenges into opportunities, providing free, accessible services to those facing eviction, foreclosure, or homelessness in the Northwest Suburbs of Cook County. Together, we strive to build a stronger, more resilient community where everyone can find hope and stability.
