Youth HYPE Housing Program

At Northwest Compass’ Youth HYPE Housing Program in Palatine, IL, we believe that every individual deserves a safe and supportive place to call home. Our dedicated team empowers young adults aged 18-24 to take control of their housing journey, providing tailored assistance that addresses their unique needs. Our comprehensive services include a welcoming Walk-In Entry Point Center that connects residents to vital resources in the North Suburban Region, as well as specialized support through the Youth HYPE Homeless Program. We offer limited financial assistance for homeless prevention, education on eviction and foreclosure issues, and money management counseling to help clients gain confidence in managing their finances. In addition, our career coaching equips participants with the skills needed to become job-ready. We also facilitate access to essential programs like SNAP and Medicaid, and provide a monthly food pantry open to all residents, ensuring no one goes hungry. Our mission is centered on compassion and respect, helping our neighbors transform their housing crises into sustainable solutions while offering all services at no charge. Food donations are always welcome as we work together to strengthen our community.
