Youth HYPE Housing Program

At Northwest Compass’ Youth HYPE Housing Program in Palatine, IL, we believe that every young adult deserves a secure place to call home. Our mission is to empower those aged 18-24 to actively manage their housing situations and achieve positive outcomes through comprehensive support. We offer vital services including walk-in entry points that connect individuals with essential resources, specialized youth homelessness programs, limited financial assistance for homeless prevention, and education on eviction and foreclosure issues. Our compassionate team provides money management counseling and career coaching to help clients gain employment, while also facilitating access to SNAP and Medicaid. With a food pantry available monthly and the support of the Greater Chicago Food Depository, we ensure that no one goes hungry. We treat every individual with dignity and respect, working tirelessly to transform housing crises into opportunities for growth and stability, all at no cost to our residents.
