MOVE! Weight Management Program

MOVE! Weight Management Program, located in Oak Park, IL, is dedicated to enhancing the health and well-being of Veterans through comprehensive weight management and health promotion initiatives. Our mission is to screen every Veteran receiving care at our VA facilities for obesity, providing tailored referrals to appropriate weight management services that align with their individual needs and preferences. We offer a range of options, including engaging group sessions, convenient telephone lifestyle coaching, and our innovative TeleMOVE! system for in-home support. Veterans also have access to the MOVE! Coach mobile app for self-directed weight management, as well as options for weight loss medications and bariatric surgery for those who continue to face challenges after initial weight management efforts.
