Caitlin Wurster

Caitlin Wurster, a compassionate psychologist with a PsyD, provides therapeutic services at LifeSpan Counseling & Psychological Services. With a belief that everyone faces challenges throughout life, she understands the importance of support in navigating these trials in ways that foster personal growth. Caitlin's mission is centered around assisting children, adolescents, adults, and families in achieving a deeper understanding of their personal choices, strengths, and resilience. This empowers her clients to recognize their capability for change and ultimately lead fulfilling lives. Drawing from her extensive clinical experience, Caitlin utilizes a psychodynamic primary orientation while incorporating interventions from eclectic sources, including interpersonal therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and mindfulness practices tailored to the unique needs of each client. She holds a master's degree and a Psy.D in clinical psychology, having completed her education at the Illinois School of Professional Psychology at Argosy in Schaumburg. Caitlin gained valuable clinical training in therapeutic day schools, completing her internship and fellowship at South Campus Therapeutic Day School, and is equipped to address a wide range of issues including anxiety, depression, trauma, and identity, among others.
