Youth HYPE Housing Program

Located in Oak Park, IL, the Youth HYPE Housing Program at Northwest Compass is dedicated to ensuring that every young adult has a safe and stable place to call home. Our program is designed to empower individuals aged 18-24 by providing the tools and support necessary for them to manage their housing situations effectively. We operate a Walk-In Entry Point Center in the North Suburban Region, collaborating with The Alliance to End Homelessness in Suburban Cook County to connect residents to essential resources. In addition to limited financial assistance for homelessness prevention, we offer education and advocacy for those facing eviction or foreclosure, as well as personalized money management counseling and career coaching. Our commitment extends to partnering with the Greater Chicago Food Depository, facilitating the SNAP and Medicaid application processes, and maintaining a food pantry that serves all residents on a monthly basis.
