Youth HYPE Housing Program

At Youth HYPE Housing Program in Oak Park, IL, we believe that everyone deserves a safe and secure place to call home. Our mission is to empower young adults aged 18-24 facing homelessness through tailored support services that address their specific needs. As part of Northwest Compass, we provide essential resources including a Walk-In Entry Point Center that connects individuals to various services in collaboration with The Alliance to End Homelessness in Suburban Cook County. Our offerings include limited financial assistance for homeless prevention, educational advocacy for those confronting eviction or foreclosure, and money management counseling to help clients navigate their financial challenges. We also offer career coaching to prepare them for the workforce, alongside assistance with SNAP and Medicaid applications. Additionally, our food pantry is accessible to every resident on a monthly basis, with prior registration. Our dedicated staff is committed to treating every individual with respect and compassion, helping them navigate their housing crises and transforming challenges into opportunities for a brighter future.
