Financial Assistance for Families Working in the Restaurant Industry

Based in Oak Park, IL, CORE is dedicated to providing essential financial assistance to food and beverage service employees who are facing financial hardships due to illness or medical emergencies. Understanding the unique challenges faced by those in the restaurant industry, we offer support that covers a broad range of expenses, including rent or mortgage, utilities, funeral costs, medical bills, therapy, and childcare needs. Our program aims to alleviate the stress of financial burdens, allowing families to focus on recovery and stability. While former CORE grant recipients are encouraged to seek assistance again after 12 months, we maintain a lifetime cap of $7,500 to ensure we can support as many individuals as possible during their times of need. CORE is committed to standing by our community members, providing compassionate support when they need it most.
