Youth HYPE Housing Program

Northwest Compass’ Youth HYPE Housing Program in Oak Lawn, IL, is dedicated to ensuring that every young adult has a safe and stable place to call home. Targeting individuals aged 18-24, our program empowers clients to take active roles in managing their housing situations through education, advocacy, and comprehensive support services. We provide a Walk-In Entry Point Center that connects residents to essential resources to combat homelessness, alongside tailored assistance for eviction prevention and financial crises. Our compassionate team offers Money Management counseling, career coaching, and advocacy for those facing complex housing challenges. As a partnered member of the Greater Chicago Food Depository, we also facilitate access to emergency food assistance through our monthly food pantry, requiring only simple registration. At Northwest Compass, we believe in transforming crises into opportunities, treating every individual with dignity and respect while providing vital services free of charge to all residents in the Northwest Suburbs of Cook County.
