Youth HYPE Housing Program

At Youth HYPE Housing Program in Oak Lawn, IL, we believe everyone deserves a safe place to call home. Part of Northwest Compass, our mission is to empower young adults aged 18-24 who are experiencing homelessness by providing essential support and resources tailored to their unique circumstances. We operate an accessible Walk-In Entry Point Center in the North Suburban Region, collaborating with The Alliance to End Homelessness in Suburban Cook County to connect individuals with crucial services. Our program offers limited financial assistance for homelessness prevention, guidance for those facing eviction or foreclosure, and comprehensive education and advocacy for the residents of Northwest Suburbs of Cook County. We are committed to enhancing financial literacy through Money Management counseling, aiding our clients in job readiness with Career Coaching, and assisting with SNAP and Medicaid applications. Additionally, we provide a monthly Food Pantry service to support all residents in need. At Youth HYPE, we treat everyone with dignity and compassion, believing that together we can turn a housing crisis into a path toward a brighter future. Our services are offered free of charge to all residents, and donations of food are always appreciated.
