At the Food Pantry in Oak Lawn, IL, we are dedicated to providing emergency food assistance to those in need, including low-income families, single parents, senior citizens, unemployed individuals, disabled veterans, and the working poor. Our mission centers around ensuring access to nutritious food, and we remain committed to serving our community, especially during challenging times such as the COVID-19 pandemic. Our pantry operates on the 3rd Friday of every month, welcoming everyone to arrive as early as 8 am to secure their place on the list and return later to collect food that meets their basic nutritional needs. We believe in the power of compassion and support, ensuring that no one in our community goes hungry.
