Farm & Food Systems Fellowship

The Farm & Food Systems Fellowship in O'Fallon, IL, is dedicated to cultivating advocates for a food system that prioritizes social, environmental, and economic justice. Selected Fellows engage in a transformative six-month, hands-on learning experience at the Allegheny Farm Campus in Virginia, where they will develop skills to grow and distribute diversified crops, lead innovative health education sessions, and support community initiatives like school gardens and farmers markets. Following this immersive training, Fellows enter a Community Action Year, applying their knowledge with regional non-profit organizations to strengthen local food systems and promote greater access to healthy foods. Applications for this program are open until March, with the fellowship experience typically running from May to October each year.
