Dr. Alan Levy, a Clinical Social Worker and therapist with a PhD, creates a unique environment for his clients, allowing them to explore their needs and feelings while discovering new ways to navigate the challenges in their lives. He believes that a pivotal factor for success in therapy is the relationship between the client and therapist. Dr. Levy’s approach is human, engaging, and collaborative, focusing on exploring feelings, reactions, and relationships to cultivate a deeper understanding of personal needs, goals, and aspirations. As a distinguished psychotherapist and psychoanalyst, Dr. Levy has earned recognition as a Distinguished Scholar/Fellow of the National Academies of Practice, received the Simmons Distinguished Career Award, the NIP Educator's Award, and the Sabshin Award from the American Psychoanalytic Association. His education includes a PhD from Columbia University, an internship at Harvard, and faculty positions at renowned institutions such as Columbia, USC, Loyola, and the University of Chicago.
