Rachel Fischer

Rachel Fischer, MS, LCSW, is a dedicated Clinical Social Worker and therapist who passionately works with clients across the lifespan, including preteens, children aged 6 to 10, teens, and adults, addressing a variety of personal challenges such as depression, anxiety, and significant life transitions. She creates a safe and supportive emotional environment where clients can comfortably explore their concerns. With an interactive and engaging therapeutic style, Rachel meets clients at their readiness, guiding them through some of their most profound emotional work. Known for her authenticity, directness, and empathy, she is a strong advocate for her clients, often collaborating closely with parents and schools to equip them with essential tools for growth and healing. Rachel holds a Master's Degree in Social Work from Loyola University Chicago, along with a Master's Degree in Child Development from The Erikson Institute. Since 2009, she has offered individual, group, and family therapy throughout the Northern Suburbs, drawing from her extensive experience in an Adolescent and Young Adult Inpatient Psychiatry Unit and various PHP/IOP levels of care. Her therapeutic goals emphasize stabilization of mood and symptoms, enhancing overall functionality, and facilitating reintegration into family, work, school, and community life.
